The Social Media & Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for creating, executing, and evaluating digital communications and for monitoring and updating museum’s websites. Directly report to Marketing Manager. This position also are responsible for developing social media campaigns and initiatives designed to grow and engage our online audience. The Coordinator will create and publish content across multiple social networks and will monitor and manage engagement.
This position requires an organized, deadline-driven, creative thinker with attention to detail, who embraces new technologies. The ideal candidate has a talent for identifying relevant stories, engagement opportunities, and corporate messages and communicating them in an entertaining and appropriate way to further build and engage the museum online presence and community.

Duties and Responsibilities: Effective and timely implementation of e-marketing strategies Manage the scheduling, creation, distribution, and evaluation of external digital communications Monitor analytics related to digital campaigns, provide team members with relevant stats, and make necessary improvements for even greater success Coordinate and develop graphics for electronic use Evaluate need for updates or changes to web site structure and/or features Liaison with other staff to ensure accurate representation of events, exhibitions, and other web content Keep current on social media marketing and website trends and emerging digital technologies, bringing best practices from both the for-profit and non-profit world Maintain and grow the museum social media presence by developing and executing innovative paid and organic campaigns across multiple channels Manage the social media advertising budget Work collaboratively with other staff to collect, create and publish a variety of content with the goal of increasing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and engagement, and ultimately, improving member retention and acquisition Build an active brand ambassador network to spread the word about the museum by engaging staff and volunteers and by working with influencers Regularly analyze audience and engagement metrics to continually adjust campaigns for maximum impact and effectiveness Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent years of related work experience 5+ years of relevant professional experience in digital marketing Intermediate Squarespace or WordPress knowledge Intermediate knowledge of social media marketing platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Line) Intermediate knowledge and experience in digital marketing tool (Google Analytics, Google Ads or Facebook Pixel, Similar Web.) Excellent written and oral communications skills in both English and Mandarin Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects Ability to take direction and work in a collaborative environment Tech savvy, dynamic, and creative individual able to thrive in fast paced environment
